What we collect, what we don't, and why.
The short version: we collect your email address when you sign in, and we use it to let you sign in and to occasionally tell you about the project. We don't sell it. We don't share it. We don't track you across the web.
Information we collect
- Your email address, when you sign in via the magic link flow.
- A session cookie after sign-in, so we know it's still you on the next page.
- Standard server logs (request paths, timestamps, error traces) needed to keep the service running.
How we use it
- To send you the magic link that signs you in.
- To send occasional notifications about the project — new features, channels added, things you might want to know about. Infrequent.
- For internal marketing communication from Left Join Studio about our other projects, when relevant.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your email or any other data to third parties.
- We do not share your email with advertisers.
- We do not use third-party analytics that profile you across sites.
- We do not retain anything we don't actively need.
Your data, your control
You can request that your account be deleted at any time. Email Scott Pierce directly and we'll handle it.
Third parties
The site runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, Vectorize, R2). YouTube embeds use the privacy-respecting youtube-nocookie.com variant. Magic-link emails are sent via Resend through our shared auth.ljs.app service. We run our own self-hosted Plausible Analytics at plausible.ljs.app for aggregate page-view counts — it's cookieless, doesn't profile you across sites, and we don't share its data. None of these vendors are sold your data; they're tools we use to operate the service.
